The March for Science High Country in Breckenridge, is an officially registered satellite march to the March for Science happening in Washington D.C. on April 22, 2017. As our mountain communities have tremendous passion for outdoor recreation, public lands and wildlife, Breckenridge will join over 400 Marches for Science nationwide and worldwide.
Our March will kick off at 1:30 pm from the South Gondola Parking Lot. We will proceed along the Riverwalk through Breckenridge, culminating with a rally "Celebrating Science" at The Village at Breckenridge. We will have several speakers, bands, informational tents and Earth Day activities for the kids. The March for Science-High Country is free and open to all.

SPEAKERS
Colorado nature photographer and Summit County resident John Fielder will be on hand to project his favorite photographs of our county on a large outdoor screen enhanced with beautiful music. John will discuss his observations about the effect of global warming on our county, state, and planet based upon 40 years of photographing the natural world.
